About Your Regina Franchise Owner
Des Plewman brings nearly four decades of auctioneering, management, and business ownership experience to his role as the new Regina, Saskatchewan franchise owner of Autobox Garage Interiors. Throughout his 38-year auction career, Des has traveled the world conducting heavy equipment auctions and sold at cattle and collector car auctions across the Prairies and Canada — experiences that reflect his strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment to customer service.
Before entering the auction business, Des worked framing houses, gaining a solid understanding of construction and practical workmanship that still serves him well today. He takes pride in a well-organized, functional workspace — a value he credits to his dad, who taught him that he could use any tool in the shop as long as he put it back where he found it. It’s a principle Des has passed on to his own kids and one that fits perfectly with Autobox’s philosophy of smart, organized garage design.
Originally from the Lashburn area of Saskatchewan, Des has lived in British Columbia and Manitoba, and now makes his home in Regina with his wife, Lynn. Des has enjoyed building lasting friendships through the collector car community and is excited to begin helping clients transform their garages into spaces they’ll be proud of.
